The evolution of the Bayan speakers

Bayan Audio has been in the industry since 2007, first known as Radiopaq, and then as Bayan Audio. We have designed different speakers that suit multiple tastes and uses.

Specialists in wireless sound, we always aim to find the perfect sound in every speaker. One of our first designs as Bayan Audio was the Bayan 1, a robust speaker dock for iPhone and iPod with 25 watts of power, a 4” bass woofer and a 1” wide projection tweeter. It was described by Tap! as a Wonderfully flat-out mental The industrial styling is matched with gutsy speakers. Like that then you’ll love these” After Bayan 1, the Bayan 3, 5 and 7 were developed to offer different sizes and features.

In 2013, the Soundbook classic was born. A portable, Bluetooth speaker with a book-like design where you simply open it and it’s ready to play. Techradar described it as “One of the best portable wireless speakers on the market”.

Then, in 2014, we designed the Soundbook X3, a bigger version of the Soundbook classic but including the innovative Bluetooth audio encoding technology, Aptx. iCreate said it Combines unique design features with great sound output – 5/5 stars”.

At the end of 2014, we launched the Soundbook Go, a portable, wireless, Bluetooth speaker made for travellers. With a similar design to the Soundbook classic, the Soundbook Go is lighter and made available in many different colours. It has a recommended award by AVForums.

The Soundscene was launched in 2015, an innovative, water and shock resistant speaker, with 20 watts of power that can be linked together with up to 8 speakers total. Imagine 8 Soundscenes playing in your garden this summer, doesn’t it sound like the perfect party? Sunday Times’ Drive & Technology mentioned As you’d expect with such a big speaker, the bass is impressive”.

This year, we are launching our first multi-room speaker family, Silverpoint. Designed for filling your home of music without having cables around your house, the Silverpoint delivers HD audio sound quality and it can be controlled either by remote control or its companion app, StreamQ. Have you already added a multi-room system at home?

This is our past and present, the future is yet to come!
